Dobbs Dies at Age 79 After Battling Health Issues

Lou Dobbs, a conservative political commentator, author, and former television host, died on Thursday at the age of 79. Dobbs was known for his strong support of former President Donald Trump and his controversial views on immigration and other political issues.

Dobbs began his career as a news anchor and reporter at CNN in the 1980s. He later hosted his own show, "Lou Dobbs Tonight," on Fox Business Network from 2003 to 2011. In recent years, Dobbs hosted a show on the right-wing streaming service Newsmax.

Dobbs was a vocal critic of illegal immigration and often made inflammatory comments about immigrants. He was also a supporter of Trump's "America First" agenda and frequently defended Trump against his critics.

Dobbs died at his home in New Jersey after battling health issues for several months. He is survived by his wife, Mimi, and four children.
